Learn How To Effectively Work With Your Campaigns
Campaigns are the core concept of Pixelart CMS. In this article we are going to discuss Campaign management. At this point, you should be familiar with how to create a Campaign using Pixelart CMS; if not, you can refer back to our CMS Campaign Creation Tour.
The Campaigns page displays a simple table of all the previously created Campaigns in your account. You can view, edit, delete or create new Campaigns at anytime from here. We will run through each section of the page (from left to right) below:
1. Filter Your Campaigns
You can filter Campaigns by Screen Group. This will show you the playlist a specific Screen Group is playing.
Note: The order of the Campaigns does not indicate the play sequence in the Playlist.
2. Preview Your Content
You can preview your Campaign by clicking on the thumbnail in the Preview column. The Preview will open in a new window, where you can scroll through your Ad.
Aspect Ratio shows the screen’s proportional relationship between its width and height. By selecting different Aspect Ratios you can see how your Ad looks on different screen types and orientations.
3. Campaign Name
Here you will see the name you have given to your Campaign. You can edit this at anytime by clicking the Edit button as mentioned below in the Edit & Delete section.
4. Check Campaign Status
Campaigns have four different Status indicators:
- Campaign is published and is currently being played on your screens
- User has paused the Campaign
- Campaign is scheduled to start playing on your screens some time in the future on your specified times/dates
- Campaign schedule has expired and is no longer running on your screens
Note: by hovering your mouse over the status icons, you will see a description of the Campaign status.
5. Campaign Screen Groups
The Screen Group column shows all the locations that your Campaign is published to. Hover your mouse over the section to see a full list of groups with the corresponding group colours.
6. Campaign Creation Date
Here you can see the date that your Campaign was created.
7. Action Button
In the Action column you can either Publish or Pause a specific Campaign across all its allocated Screen Groups by clicking the button.
- The Campaign will now
play across the selected Screen Groups
- The Campaign will stop playing on it’s allocated Screen Groups
8. Campaign Duration
The Duration column states the amount of time each Ad will take to play.
9. Campaign Play Count
This shows how many times your Campaign has played across all Screens.
10. Campaign Play Schedule
If you hover your mouse over the Schedule icon, you will see what days and times the Campaign is scheduled to play during the week.
11. Edit/Delete Your Campaign
If you hover your mouse to the far right of the Campaign row you will see two round buttons appear:
This deletes your Campaign and subsequently stops it playing on all screens
This takes you to the Campaign Review page, where you can click on the corresponding boxes to edit or amend any of the details:
- Edit the Duration of your Ad
- Rename your Campaign
- Change or Edit your selected Ad
- Amend the Start - End date
- Amend, add or remove a Screen Group
- Change the play Schedule
Note: Once you have finished editing your Campaign you must re-publish it, the edited Campaign will then be synchronized to the corresponding Groups. If your Screen is offline at the time of Publishing/Stopping, it will automatically synchronize when it comes back online.
